Shawana Sharp - Founder & CEO
Shawana is a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She's a woman seeking after God's heart. Shwana passion for helping others comes from her own life journey. She is a CNA inspired by the need for more personal 1 on 1 care. In the early 2000's she experienced homelessness firsthand, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges many faces when trying to rebuild their lives. Determined to make a difference she became a foster parent for over 10 years, providing stability, care and guidance to children in need. In 2014, she founded Sharp's Helping Handz Homes, creating a safe haven for residents from all works of life seniors, veterans, and young adults to find not just housing but hope and community. Shawana oversees caregiver training and compliance.
Tatyana Barner - CFO
Tatyana is a woman of faith whose values guide her commitment to integrity, compassion, and excellence in managing our organization’s financial growth. She brings strong financial leadership to Sharp's Helping Handz Homes, ensuring every dollar is managed with transparency and purpose. She helps keep the organization running smoothly so residents receive the best care possible. Tatyana's dedication goes beyond the numbers she's passionate about supporting the mission and making sure homes resources truly serve the people who need them most.
Kurstin Hargrove - Program Director
Kurstin is a woman of strength whose dedication and resilience inspire the team and the residents we serve. She oversees all resident programs and daily activities at Sharp's Helping Handz Homes, making sure every person feels engaged, supported and value. With a gift for creating meaningful programs from life skills training to social activities. Kurstin ensures residents have tools and opportunities to thrive. Her dedication and creativity help foster a true sense of community within the home, turning everyday moments into steps toward independence and fulfillment.
